Founder story
35 Years in the Pursuit of the World’s Best Coffee. Alaska Coffee Roasting began in Fairbanks in 1993 with a simple mission: To find, roast, and serve the best coffee in the world. For Michael, that mission became a lifelong pursuit. For over 35 years, he traveled, studied, and searched across continents — always chasing something deeper than just flavor. He wasn’t looking for ordinary coffee. He was looking for something exceptional.
